CODE OF CONDUCT


GULLIVERS 
BOWLS CLUB is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all its members, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.
Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the Club Safeguarding Officer.

As a member of Gullivers you will be expected to abide by the following code of practice:

1)    All members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all

 members and treat everyone equally and not discriminate on the

grounds of age, gender, disability, race, marital status, religious

belief, class/social Background, sexual preference or political

belief.

2)    Any form of discrimination if witnessed must not be condoned

but must be challenged.

3)    Bullying of any sort will not be tolerated.

4)   A high standard of behaviour and manners is expected at all

times as is use of correct and proper language.

5)   Members should endeavour to learn the Rules of the sport

and play within them while respecting match official, Captains,

coaches and referees.

6)   All members should make themselves aware of the timing of

matches/competitions, coaching sessions etc and make

lateness/delays known to official ASAP.

7)    All members must respect the Club dress code for indoor and

outdoor play.

8)   All members must respect the Club officials and publicly

accept their rulings.

9)    Smoking is not allowed within club premises save in the

designated smoking permitted areas.

10)   Members must ensure that guest members signed into the


Club will meet and adhere to this Code of Conduct.

   11)  Abide by the Rules of Gullivers Bowls Club and GBCL

   12)All disciplinary matters will be dealt with in accordance with

          Bowls England Regulation 9
